Free Music ROUND 2

We're working to make sure every child has the chance to see themselves in the music they play - from the very beginning.

Free Music for your School

Transformative change can only occur when the lack of diverse representation is addressed. We’re helping educators and composers to create classrooms that look, feel, and sound like the students they teach!

The United Sound Composer Project is giving away over $20,000 of free music by minoritized composers to teachers who are unable to acquire this music for their bands and orchestras.

Free Music Round 2!

**Only one application per school program will be accepted during each round. Band and orchestra teachers from the same school may both apply separately. There are multiple copies of each piece and 3 grant cycles with new pieces for each giveaway!

Do you know a piece you’d like us to review? We’re excited to learn about new band and orchestra music, Grade 0.5-2.5.

If you’re a band or orchestra teacher with students performing 0.5-2.5 grade level music, we need your help. Join our Reviewer Team!

Round 1 winners will be announced Monday, February 5, 2023!

Huge thanks to our sponsors for making this project possible!
